Terms and Conditions for Smint's Create Your Own Flavour Competition

By entering the Smint’s Create your own flavour competition (the “Competition”) on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, you (the “Participant(s)”) accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Competition is owned and run by PERFETTI VAN MELLE – PVM UK, The Boatyard, 105 Straight Road, Old Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 2SE (the “Promoter”).

2. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to residents of United Kingdom aged 18 and over.
  • Employees of Smint, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

3. How to Enter

  • Follow Smint UK (@smintuk) official account on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok.
  • Submit your own unique Smint flavour idea by commenting on the competition post or using the designated competition hashtag #MySmintFlavour.
  • The competition will run from [25th November 2024] to [18th December 2024].
  • Best entries will be chosen as best flavour choice and Smint will review all submissions and select finalists based on creativity and originality. The winner’s flavour will be mocked up as a 3D image (by Walker) and posted on the official Smint social accounts (Facebook, Instagram & TikTok)
  • The 3 best entries will then be put against each other in a public voting on Smint’s Social platforms (Facebook, Instagram & TikTok), with the chance to win a years supply of Smint

4. Submission Guidelines

  • No offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content will be tolerated. Smint reserves the right to disqualify any submissions that violate these terms.
  • By entering the competition, you grant Smint the right to use, modify, and share your submission across its platforms and for marketing purposes.

5. Selection of Finalists

  • Smint will review all submissions and select finalists based on creativity and originality.
  • Mock-ups of the finalists' flavour ideas will be created by Walker Agency (Smint Creative Agency) and posted on our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok) for public voting.

6. Voting Process

  • The voting period will run from [19th December 2024] to [20th December 2024]. (24 hours)
  • Votes will be collected via the poll feature on Instagram and Facebook stories.
  • The entry with the highest number of votes across all platforms will be declared the winner.

7. Prizes

  • Grand Prize: The entry with the most votes will receive a year supply of Smint. A year supply is defined as [365 Smint products].
  • Runners-up Prizes: Runners-up will each receive a Smint bundle containing a variety of Smint products at Walker Agency’s discretion.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

8. Notification of Winners

  • Winners will be contacted via direct message on the social media platform they entered on within 14 days of the voting period ending.
  • Winners must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this time, they will forfeit their prize, and a new winner will be selected.

9. General Conditions

  • Smint reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the competition at any time without notice in case of unforeseen circumstances.
  • Smint accepts no responsibility for any technical issues, including, but not limited to, network problems, that may affect the submission or voting process.
  • By entering the competition, participants agree to release Smint from any liability, including personal injury or damage caused by acceptance or use of the prize.

10. Privacy

  • Any personal data collected during the competition will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and in accordance with Smint’s Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Social Media Disclaimer

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok or Facebook. Participants agree to release Instagram from any liability related to the Competition.
